We wanted to introduce you to this local gardening project started by Latina women from the Harrisonburg area. They have decided to begin this project as a way of exploring sustainability, healthy lifestyles and production of their own foods. NewBridges is accompanying this project in its initial stages. Fresh Roots is interested in involving more local women to build intercultural bridges and solidarity among community members.
