Program (ILP)
NewBridges Immigrant Resource Center has been recognized by the Department of Justice to advocate for immigrants, and currently employs an Immigration Attorney. ILP charges a nominal fee for its services.
Our services include:
- Asylum applications, and filings with the Board of Immigration Appeals
- Residency applications and renewals
- Family Based Petitions
- Employment Authorization Documents
- DACA and TPS Renewals
- Adjustment of Status applications
- Special Immigrant Juvenile applications
- Victim-based petitions, including U- and T-visas and VAWA
We also provide:
- Answers to immigration inquiries and referral services
- Guidance on immigration laws and regulations
- Know Your Rights (KYR) advisals
Resource Navigation
Services (RNS)
Our agency helps clients navigate financial aid and medical billing from local providers. Call for an appointment to speak with Ricardo, our Case Manager.
We help clients who have been to a healthcare provider, including Emergency Room visits, to:
- Understand their bills
- Fill out financial aid applications (if applicable)
- Communicate with providers to get financial aid awards applied (if applicable) and help set up payment plans
Document Support
Services
- Document translations
- Referrals for health care, housing, transportation, social services and other basic needs
- Referrals for English language tutoring and citizenship classes
