Les est impliqué avec NewBridges depuis 2007. Lorsqu'il enseignait un cours au JMU Non-Profit Institute, Susannah Leply, (alors) directrice exécutive, l'a approché pour la conseiller sur le développement de la collecte de fonds. Environ un an plus tard, Susannah l'a invité à se joindre au conseil d'administration de NewBridges. Il est actuellement vice-président du conseil d'administration et dirige la collecte de fonds et l'établissement de relations avec les donateurs en particulier.
March is Les' favorite time of year at NewBridges, when the event Taste of the World takes place. Taste of the World is an event that features food from all around the world, and this March we will be featuring East Africa!
Les enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and singing with a men's a capella group! His favorite thing to do in the Shenandoah region is to attend shows in the summer season at the Oak Grove Theater in Verona, VA! Les and his wife have season tickets to this small outdoor venue and enjoy a picnic dinner and some relaxation before the shows begin with this wife!
