Les ha estado involucrado con NewBridges desde 2007. Cuando impartió una clase con el Instituto sin fines de lucro de JMU, la (entonces) directora ejecutiva, Susannah Leply, se acercó a él para que la asesorara sobre el desarrollo de la recaudación de fondos. Aproximadamente un año después, Susannah lo invitó a unirse a la Junta de NewBridges. Actualmente es el vicepresidente de la junta y orienta especialmente la recaudación de fondos y la creación de relaciones con los donantes.
March is Les' favorite time of year at NewBridges, when the event Taste of the World takes place. Taste of the World is an event that features food from all around the world, and this March we will be featuring East Africa!
Les enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and singing with a men's a capella group! His favorite thing to do in the Shenandoah region is to attend shows in the summer season at the Oak Grove Theater in Verona, VA! Les and his wife have season tickets to this small outdoor venue and enjoy a picnic dinner and some relaxation before the shows begin with this wife!
