Friends, DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) has been rescinded as of yesterday afternoon. We are able to help select DACA recipients apply for their 2-year renewal by October 5. The US Department of Homeland Security fees for DACA renewal applications total $495.00, a hefty fee for students and young people. If you are interested in giving back to your community, this is the time. If you would like to financially support someone's DACA renewal process, follow the attached link to our Square online store and make a payment under the 'DACA Donations' heading. Only 1% of your donation goes to NewBridges, which is used for processing and agency programming. Please consider helping to fund the legal counsel and DACA renewal fee of someone near you. But remember, we have less than a month to make this happen. Time is of the essence and give generously!
